Hello, this is my first post here, Thanks for the tons of info I've read in the last few months. Rebuilding a 1989 Evinrude,
E40TLCEC, and have put a complete powerhead rebuild kit in now, have the crankshaft seated properly in the block and conrods torqued down to spec, bearing holes lined up, bought the SELOC Evinrude Manual at the beginning of this, has torque values everywhere, but I cannot find a bolt sequence for this crankcase. 14 Total bolts, 6 Center bearing bolts, 8 side bolts. Anybody? I'm stumped and googled out. I found a 10 bolt HEAD Bolt sequence, but need one for crankcase. I don't wanna make one mistake, ..........which already happened when I bought this motor for $400 because, "I had found the Deal of a Lifetime on a Evinrude 40hp"!!!!!! "A damn Evinrude for $400!!!!!"
