When I first purchased this motor new, I noticed the force of the water out of the two holes was not much more than 4". My brother-in-law had a 88 model and his went way past the prop. I don't think it overheated for the first two years. then it over headed the 3rd year and had the empellor changed out. and the next year I replaced the whole pump unit. and last year the samething still I don't have any pessure out the rear end. Do I have a problem with the head or gasket?

After you replace waterpump, check thermostat and pressure valve.
