1989? Force outboard model #

Help,I bought a 1989 Bayliner with a 85 hp Force outboard,I need to replace the impeller . I bought one online and they sent me the wrong one, i need to know the model #,It is not on the inside of the engine cover and it isn't on the engine bracket.how can I tell what model the engine is so I can get the part I need.Thanks to anyone that can help me

There were at least two types of impellers for 1989 force 85 HP that year. google mercruiser and look under force for that HP and year and see if you can Identify your lower unit.

It might help if you told us what part number you ordered, and what part number they sent you.
Also, do you hAVE A 1 PIECE OR 2 PIECE DRIVESHAFT.

WHAT ARE THE DIMENSIONS OF YOUR CURRENT IMPELLER?
HOW MANY VANES?

A photo of the ignition system and the gearcase (side view) might help to narrow it down.

How do we know what year your motor is? It is an 89 model boat, but it could be an 84 motor.

18-3065 or 18-3017 are the 2 impeller part numbers from Sierra (aftermarket producer) , that fit the 85 hp.

That # I posted is the Merc# he needs.The 85/89 only came in a 1 piece drive shaft (I think,I could be wrong) I have 2 setting in front of me right now.Replacements for mine,when I sell the motors.I guess he expects everyone to be sitting on the computer just waiting for him. I was fishing.Next time I'll ask permission.J

Part number 47-803630T is a six vane impeller from model number 853F9B. Part number 47-899984T3 is from model number 858X9H. Both of these models are from 1989. Original impeller for the 858X9H was F694065 and original impeller for the 853F9B was F523065-1. Look HERE to find the correct one.
