So I'm ready to test fire my Johnson 200 to make sure it runs - have my fuel line disconnected from the water separator and shoved into a 5 gal fuel container of premix and ready to put the battery back in BUT the previous owner had a rats nest of wires plugged into the battery, a lot with broken O ring connectors, corroded automobile wires, splices using wire nuts, etc. I'm pretty certain I don't need any of it right now ...
My factory service manual just came in the mail today BUT I can't find a decent wiring schematic anywhere - the majority of it is simplified troubleshooting steps -> Test A to ground and look for voltage, etc
Assuming the Johnson wiring harness is untouched and the remote works correctly, do all I need to do to start(stop) and run the motor for testing is connect the 4awg cables coming off the motor to the battery and crank the key on the remote?
Help?! Thanks!
