I just torque 'em snug usin' my calibrated elbow... We sometimes call that the German torque spec "Goodentight"

Torque it till a quart before it breaks

Ok problem solved she runs great and cool at full throttle. But I have another problem. My tilt and trim are acting funny. On the tilt Down is up and up is down. In the trim down is up and up just doesn't work.

Ayuh,... Sounds like ya stuck yer foot into the trim pump wirin' while swappin' the manifolds,...

I pulled the engine to do this. I figured I would take advantage and change the couple since I was into it already. All my wiring is tucked away neatly. Is it possible to have put the connectors together incorrectly?

is it possible that I put the connectors together wrong? I pulled the engine to do the job because i wanted to replace the coupler.
