I recently bought a 1989 stratus with a 70 hp Johnson motor on it. I need some help figuring out the fuel lines on it they go to the carbs if someone may have a picture for reference I could go off of. Thank you

It would be greatly appreciated, thank you
Sorry, it’s the best I can do.

what you can see in the foreground is the oil line with the small sight glass (plastic), And the fuel supply which curls around to the filter And intake port on the pump.

what you can’t see is the vacuum line that goes to the block behind the pump. And the supply line that goes from the pump to the hose manifold.
If I recall and I’m not a mechanic, the vacuum hose to the block is a little bigger than everything else. 3/8” maybe?? Maybe one of the pros can weigh in. I believe everything else is 5/16 inch until it gets to the fuel hose manifold which is 5/32”

Would you happen to have any picture of how the fuel lines are run on the carbs and where all they go

I’ll take photos off my 86 60 hp tonight. The intake box is still off of it.

but there’s not too much to the manifold, there’s a 90° plastic fitting that comes out just underneath the pump. A 5/32 inch line go straight up to a couple of plastic T-fittings. The offshoot of those go directly to the carbs except for the top one which goes straight up to the top off the last T fitting.
I believe you can buy this premade, but I simply cleaned and reused my T-fittings, new hose and fuel rated zip ties.

Here’s some photos of my 1986 60 hp VRO. Not sure if my plumbing meets professional standards or anything. (pros please advise if I’ve done something poorly)

in any case I still can’t get any pictures from underneath the pump.

Are those like breather tubes coming off the top of the carbs? Do they lead to anywhere specific? I’m sorry for all the questions. This is my very first time ownin/working on a boat and just trying to make sure I do stuff right

They are not breather tubes at all.----The electric primer valve ( not a pump ) put fuel directly into the airstream ( via those wee hoses ) for starting.---Push key in while cranking to start this motor.----And read a few books / manuals before launching your boat it could save you a lot of beer tokens.----Many novice boaters these days.----
