1989 OMC 350 King Cobra exhaust manifolds and risers

I have been looking for replacement exhaust manifolds and risers for my 1989 350 King Cobra engine #9 and #48 on the parts diagram link.

The problem is that these part numbers where only used on the 1989 OMC engines.
So as such none of the aftermarket suppliers make a direct replacement exhaust manifolds or risers for the 1989 OMC 350 King Cobra engine.
Any ideas as to where I can find replacement parts?
The risers from other model years look to be a bit taller than the 1989 risers which would cause a clearance problem with my engine hatch.

Well, I am sorry to say that this is one of the reasons most of us on here try to steer people away from buying a boat that has the letters OMC someplace in the ad.

I know that doesn't help you at all, but maybe someone else will see this in a search. (Your "problem may help someone else)

Now having said that you may have answered your own question. If you cannot find manifolds and/or risers for that particular model year you may have to use the "taller' models and modify your engine hatch.

It's still just a GM 350 engine. I would also look at Mercruiser manifolds and risers to find something that might fit.

I wish I had a better answer for you. The parts supply for OMC specific engines and drives are just getting more and more scarce.....

Regarding the taller replacements, what dimension do your existing manifolds have from the centerline of the bolts to the riser mating surface?

Here is a riser for sale on ebay that is identical to mine. As you can see it is made differently than most other risers as it doesn't use the long mounting bolts.

OMC used this part for only one year (1989) and on only on the 350's and 460's.
And nobody makes a aftermarket part to replace this riser.
I may buy this ebay unit but really it does me no good if I can't find two and matching manifolds.

Have you test-fit an OMC/Volvo 3857944 riser? It's also a low profile design. Also, GLM P/N 22316 claims it fits a 1989 OMC 5.7
