199?? 40hp force year question

Hey guys,
I'm trying to figure out the year of my force motor. I believe its a 96, however when I went to purchase an impeller for it, turns out it was the wrong one for the year. The serial number is gone from the mounting bracket. Is there somewhere else on the motor I can look to find this?

Kiekhafer built the 40 horse Force outboards from 1992 until 1995.
You should check the Sierra 18-3050 or the 18-3056.

Can you post a picture of it? Also what is the number on the inside of the lower unit? Should be by the impeller housing
