I just replaced the power pack recently and have noticed the idle is fast. About 1200 RPM and it never kicks back down after it is warm. I have a shop man. and even after adjusting everything it still idles fast any ideas. Maybe the quickstart is messed up? Can you just disconnect the blk-wht wire to disconnect the quickstart?

QuikStart is strictly a powerpack function. If the black and white wire is connected from the temp switch to the powerpack and you don't get the timing relief at +/- 96 degrees or +/-1100 RPM, then you should take the powerpack back.

Are you saying that in the water it never slows down or are you running it on land on the flushette?
