1990 15hp johnson throttle cable routing

Hey just picked up this motor. seen it running on a raft. had the cables for steering and throttle . removed those i cant use them right now. It has the twist throttle installed and it was zip tied on inside. I cannot figure out where this darn this goes. i know where it should go but it just wont reach or fit? i cant find anything on it. Anyone have a picture of theirs i can see? or explain for me. Thanks a lot!!

Axeman_87, have you actually found a break down for your engine. Go to boats dot net (remove the actual dot word though) and search your engine there for all the break downs for every part. You may find what you need there. :thumb:

The throttle cable goes to the same place the other cable was you will need the silver clip to hold it on. There should also be a place to hold the adjustment ball.
