Help - replacing the PTT motor need to slide right transom bracket - alls done except lower transom bolt - do I have to pull the gas tank to get to it or is there another solution - hopefully. The bolt head on the outside turns.
update had to remove batteries and oil tank then the clamps holding down the gas tank and pull it forward and then could access the bottom bracket bolts. Have removed the power steering connections and still can't slide the bracket - HELP. Motor trimmed at mid level by trim gauge. Release valve in operative (frozen/seized). Next plan is to hoist motor and hopefully remove PTT from the rear. All suggestions appreciated.
