Well seems my demise to the left engine is that the prime motor's impeller has come loose. Has anyone taken one of these sealed units apart for any reason and repaired them. Just a thought maybe I could plump both engines to prime off the one pump. Any sugestions. BTW pump is not made anymore or so I'm told.

well if ya cant fix it get a bigger hammer and more power. Drenched input port with WD 40 and hooked 250 amp battery charger to the pump tapped with a BFH and it started to work a bit. Several resoaks annd bit of 2 cycle mix its freed up. Impeller must not have been loose.

I had them on my boat (1987 SeaDrives) & replaced both with the old fashoned squeeze type.

thats was part of the thought process also. Johnny/Rude said auto type fuel pumps wont work be these are free flow thru after priming is completed they are shut off. after look at how they are plumbed there is a by pass tubing from inlet to the output so i really could use a auto type pump ifn I had to.
