If it is falling on its face at WOT, I would check the carburetor and passage ways such as the jets. Not sure if they are fixed jets or not, but either way the carbs main jet is 1/2-WOT. If your getting a good strong spark jumping, something if cutting fuel out it seems. Also you can try spraying WD40 under the flywheel while it is running, any change in RPM will tell you the seal is blown.Try the new coils and update us. Good luck

Think you I tried the new coil I'm not sure I know how to explain this but before the new carb I could pull the wire from the 1st plug at 2000 rpm made no difference, with the new coil it seems to make half the difference of pulling the 2nd plug wire does. I did tea clean the number 1 carb took it all the way apart and it spent a day in the ultra sonic cleaner. I will do the wd40 test this weekend, but I'm really starting to think I'm getting a weaker spark on the 1 at cylinder even with the new coil
