My 1990 Evinrude 60hp VRO died and I cannot get it to fire. For the past few months at cruising speed a miss would develop after running about 5 min. However, last Saturday, while idling, the motor jerked twice and died. It cranked after about 10 min or so and ran for about 30 seconds at half throttle before quiting again. It has not started since. All I get it plenty of oil and gas on the plugs and also oil and gas comming out of the exhaust in the hub. I have changed plugs two times and have checked plug wires and coils. There are not any horns going off for overheating or anything. The impeller was replaced last fall. I was "told" that the ignition or power box went bad. A new one is on order and will be in tomorrow. Any ideas if this is the problem? All help would be appreciated greatly. Brandon
