Can anyone help me with my tilt and trim on my 90 88 spl?? I had it all wired up and working now its not... The relays dont even click and i have no power coming out of the relay socket.. Can you change it from relays to solinoids??? Its the 2 wire tilt and trim..

Any help would be great as i am at a loss for trying to figure this out.. Its a new trim motor and it works when connected to 12volts

Check your fuse located close to the starter solenoid; may be blown. Good luck

Also check the relay box for any corrosion, broken wires or bad connections.

It's the little things that will always get you. I learned that a long time ago.

relay and solinoid is the same thing.
both do the very same job of switching a high currant.

Here in the uk some people call them solinoids and some call them relays.
ive noticed in the parts books also they often use both names.

glad you got it all fixed, and cheaply too ha ha

cant get better than free
