After fighting WOT hot condition I finally broke down and pulled the head and exaust manifold to look for blocked water passages and found some. It looks like there may be some small holes under the exaust manifold into the cylinder waterjacket. I am wondering if anybody knows how many and what size drill bit to use ? Should they be opened up a little bit? Also wondering if anybody has used after-market reeds. I use Boysen reeds in my dirt bikes and think in that app. they are worth the $. Any thoughts would be helpful. Thanks.
