bought a used 90 hp...marine shop swapping it on to my boat... they called and said there was nowhere to put the controls...on my boat...and wanted me to buy new controller... i didn't take that close of a look at the boat it came off of.., but it seemed to be mounted to the side panel with just the arm showing... different than my old johnson had a box that i mounted right on the side rail...the marine shop said they are gonna connect everything and leave the contols hanging there for me to figure out how to mount it... does anyone have any ideas...? i would have thought there was a box of some sort under that rail where the control arm connected to on the boat i am getting it from and i would simply mount the box..now i am wondering what to do... i don't want to buy a 300.00 controller like the marine shop suggested... HELP...and i don't care what it ultimately looks like... HELP as i am going on vacation with this boat saturday...
