1990 Cobia Monte Carlo 208- general questions

Hello everyone, I am a new proud owner of a 1990 model Cobia Monte Carlo 208 w/ a 5.0 lx mercruiser thunderbolt ignition system. This boat was built near my home town in TN. Unfortunatly they were manufactured around here before my time and info is kinda hard to find out. My main question is that i would like to purchase or make a copy of a owners manual so that i could find out things such as fuel capacity etc. I am also running very rich, we are tearing in to the newly rebuilt carb to check float adj. i am interested if anyone knows what the standard float adj. is for a 5.0 merc. w/ a quadrjet 4bbl. It has been mentioned to me that they should be set between 8-10/32, i just would like a second opinion. Let me know.........Tks<br />Also what kind of fuel consumption should this boat/motor use?
