Hello all,
I was changing the plugs and doing some other maintenance things the other day. I decided to check compression while i had the plugs out. My question is, the compression was 90 psi on all 4 cylinders...The plugs looked great and the motor runs very well. Im just curious if this is something i should be concerned about...or could this just be normal aging of the motor.? Any help thanks

Very low numbers.----Your gauge may read low.----Have you tested this gauge ?----The fact that they are even is a good sign.------Test with another gauge before jumping to conclusions.----My gauge would show 120 on one of these in good condition.------Could be a weak starter too.

Well thats not good....yikes🤤and no i never tested the gauge bought it brand new so just assumed it worked, but its funny you mentioned the starter. The gear on it is worn pretty bad and it does crank weak at times so i have it on my list anyway...Maybe I'll change that out and test again.
Thanks

Clean up all connections -- sandpaper until bright. Make sure the battery is fully charged.

FYI Harbor Freight gauges don't work. I just got one . everything I test registers 60.
