I saw on my door jam that rears are 80 lbs and front 52 lbs? I have the stock wheels and tires, 16". For an unloaded bed with topper shell, is that the pressure I should run? Thanks, Heinz

I run about 50psi on all fours until I need to haul a heavy load, then I'll pump the rears up some. My pick-up, which is the same as yours, beats me to death when I forget to let the air out after a heavy load. I'll use up to 90# in the rears depending on the load. Chief

I concur with Chief. 50 lbs all around for unloaded running. Any more than that you'll shake your teeth out, have no traction, and wear out the center tread of your rears VERY fast. Next time you fill the bed to the top with gravel, crank 'em up to 80.

Their right Heinz. I keep my fronts at about 50, the rears go to 45 when unloaded, and 80 when loaded.

I asked at the station (years ago) and they said the same thing. Run 50 lbs all around for a better ride and pump them up to 80 or so with a heavy load. F250 also. Or 2500 fer them chebby guys ;)
