Hi again I think the problem is solved I took all apart cleaned it up took her back out a again for a good long run have not seen anymore linkage thanks agan for all the help mike

All I did is take it apart clean it up see really noting wrong with it so I put it back together and take it for a ride back down to the river I think it came from the river thats the only thing I could think of.

Not an expert here, but it looks to me like its normal man. that crap in the top ,, the gray stuff...I think thats just the exhaust oil mix crap that built up over time. Gear oil with water in it looks nothing like that at all.

I would say just keep an eye on it and check it every once in awhile. Worst thing that can happen is it leaks so bad it flushes the gears and bearings clean. But theres not much chance it would do that in one or two outings. So even if you ran straight water out the drain, odds are you would still be a ok, since the bearings are packed and lubed so well. Just keep an eye on it like every three outings or two if alot of use and in about six or seven outings, if nothing happens then you should be just fine man.
