1990 force 90 hp shifting rod

how do hook the shifting rod back up in the lower unit.I was putin a water pump in .and pulled the wrong pin out.I just want to get back on the river the slivers are in.help thanks .

You didn't disconnect it on the bottom by the prop,did you? If so, it must be pretty-much dissmantled to get at it (propshaft,driveshaft,gear train ect).<br />If your lower unit is the two piece, both halves can be removed,pinned, and re-inserted. If it is the single piece, it goes thru the hole to the starboard side of the leg.
