The transom wood went all the way to the side of the boat, but was filled with foam behind the sides.

The hull at the transom has a tunnel shape. I was considering rebuilding my transom similar to Frisco's Glastron and not go all the way out so I can tab to this tunnel. This pic may not be the best for showing it

I found dry wood under the consoles at the ski locker. I am planning on tying my new stringers in here so I don't have to pull the cap. On the gunwales I have a foam with fiberglass liner of some sort. Not sure if I should take it out completely or cut out just enough to tab in my deck. Does anyone think this provides anything structural?

Nice to see the pics in full size.

I started using the photobucket method for many of my posts, and have trasitioned to posting from my web site instead of photobucket. Either way seems to work fine.

You and Jay (Frisco) will have dueling threads with your Glastrons.

I took a couple of photos of the two areas I'm stuck at. Trying to decide how much more demo work needs to be done before I can start rebuilding. The bottom is the foam sandwiched between fiberglass on my gunwales.
