I replaced the alarm horn with a new one last night. It didn't sound when I turned the alarm on, so I traced the ground wire to the switch and the screw was loose, so I tightened it and then the alarm would sound briefly when the key was turned on. I made sure (twice) that the brown wire was connected to the terminal closest to the black wire, as per forum instructions. When I grounded the temp sensor on the motor (with the key in the "on" position) I still didn't get an alarm, so I tried the other temp sensor, still no alarm. Since the alarm sounds when the key is turned on, I assume the horn power & ground connections are ok. Should I check the continuity of the brown wire from the horn to the engine? Does the brown wire from the alarm horn go through the large cable that ends up at the large red rubber connector in the engine compartment? Which terminal in the plug is it? Thanks.
