The water pressure fluctuates between 0 to 20psi. Gauge is good. Any ideas?

I tried but do not see / hear your motor.-----How old is the impeller ?----Does the tell tale come off the side of the block or the top ?

telltale is on the side.

Well there was a service bulletin that came out in 1994 to move the tell-tale to the top of the block.----So likely that motor has not been looked at by a trained individual / someone who cared.-----Hurry to a good friendly shop.----The latest waterpump kit has the bits / instruction for you.----Easy and well worth doing.

Will the thermostat opening and closing cause the pressure to change?
