Not sure how big the gas tank is on a '90 1850 tyee but my '97 has a 45 gallon tank. I found the size of mine by removing the access cover in the floor and looking at the plate attached to the tank. Oh yeah, mine is an outboard....not sure if there is a difference in the gas tank between an outboard and an i/o.
