1990 Mariner 100hp low idel

My mariner has a really low idel even when warm it will cut out when ideled down anyone have a diagram as to where the idel screw is and how many turns out it should be set at and idle RPM Thanks

Idle should be set to 750 rpms in gear on the water. In turn the idle in neutral will be around 1000. Hope this helps

well if i can find the idle on the motor it would help its the 2x2 mariner i have looked for it and tried looking for a diagram of the motor but can't find out where the idle screw is on this thing lol

just a guess but follow linkage from timer base down.Idle screw will be there.Look for the screw that advances the timing.

hi i have a 1989 115 hp merecury 2+2 , you will find the idle screws on the top two carbs (the bottom 2 dosent have any) they are the screws that have springs on them turn them in till lightly seated then back out a turn and a half my motor is set this way and idles like a charm

Wouldnt that be air mixture screws on carbs?
