Greetings,

What material is the oil pump grear on the crank shaft made of?
Is the key locking it to the shaft a soft key like in a lawnmower flywheel key?
Is the oil pomp itself rapirable at all? It seems to be stuck and will not turn in one direction and when it turns in the other the shaft seems to move outward every 180 drgrees then back inward. If You take the oil seal ou can you then dissemble the oil pump from there?

Thanks,

A hard nylon material....

Standard "D" key , never seen one sheared if thats what your thinking....
Is the oil pomp itself rapirable at all?
No as no parts are sold seperately, replace as a assy only.

Thanks Faztbullet,

Do you or anyone think that a frozen, probably rusty, oil pump can be disassembled and repaired?
I know it is probably easier to find a take off or used one. I just like to tinker these days.

I guess you could but I would not trust, as if it is pitted internally if could change the oil flow ratio...
