1990 merc 70 manual tilt?????

i was just wandering if there is a way to manually raise and lower this particular motor??? im still having troubles with my tilt/trim (its just clicks when i oush the button) and i would like to take my boat out this weekend?? is there any way way to raise and lower it manually? it seemes to be stuck on the two pistons and i cant move it up or down.

any ideas guys?

If you look for a manual release valve on the starboard side of the engine near the tilt cylinder, you can release the engine by turning this valve (screw). However i would be cautious about running the engine at high speeds, untill you check this out.
