I have a 1990 2 stroke Nissan outboard motor with 125psi on top cylinder and 50 psi on lower cylinder. Also I cannot locate a service manual for this 1990 Nissan 2 stroke outboard to do the work myself. Any ideas peeps

Year is irrelevant; Model is everything. If this is an NS40C (single carb, 2-cylinder), it is quite obsolete, but some parts are available. The Factory 1- and 2-cylinder 2-stroke service manual, available from any dealer (including me) is available. 50 psi indicates you may need to hone that cylinder and install new rings. If it's really bad, you may be in for new pistons as well. Pistons and rings are available in both standard and 0.5 mm oversize. Power head gasket sets are also available. If this 27-year-old motor has been running in salt water, it may be difficult to disassemble, due to corrosion of the decades. After you get the head off, you will know more.

Yep if salt water used, hope cylinder head bolts don't break when pulling head out, including any other powerhead bolts that deals with water passages.

Motor was just recently serviced and is damn near spotless only driven in lake and river water. Can you provide me with a link to buying the service manual for the motor. The dealer the boat was bought from suggested it only needed new rings but I've never worked on a boat motor and I'm mechanically inclined.
