Its an I/O and when it sets in my slip it takes on water. I see no cracks in hull and no leaks around plug hole. Any ideas on what to ck for or where to ck? I see a red cable from inside to outside transom. How do I ck for leaks? Exhausted trying to figure thid out.

When was the last time the bellows were changed between the engine & outdrive? I think there's at least 2, maybe 3 - drive-shaft, shift cable & maybe exhaust. Pretty sure shift cable & drive shaft bellows will leak into boat if they're ripped.

Drive bellows, not likely shift-cable bellows as it's high-up, exh. bellows won't let water in the hull, trim sender has a small plug in the housing, could leak, or the ugly one, rotten transom.....Pull the drive and see if waters in the drive bellows.
