1990 VIP Runabout (ski and bass)

I just bought a 1990 VIP. On the title it says it is a Runabout (ski and bass). Is this the model or is this just the style? How do I find out what the model is? Also I have having some wiring issues. The person I bought it from decided to try to "be helpful" and clean up some of the wires, but now I can get the front lights to work and I am having some issues with the trim pump.
Any ideas?

not sure about how to tell the model but as far as ur power issues go i would check all fuses and breakers and if those are ok get a test light and see if u have power at ur light and or trim motor. check all ur grounds too
