Hello Folks,
I finally broke down and sold 2 boats and bought one Really nice fish n ski. Anyway the oil injection has been disabled, which is perfectly cool by me, I prefer it actually, but Sunday I took it out, and the fuel gage said EMPTY, so naturally I poured the oil in first. The tank is 30 gallons so I poured enough oil in to make the ratio 50:1, well the tank only took 20 gallons. So the mix was rich, the motor didn't seem to like it if it idled to long.
So for you guys that have taken your oil injection off, How do you ensure a proper mix, do you put the oil in after you fill the tank? I think that if I did it this way it wouldn't mix as good as if I put the oil in first.
Thoughts??
