I've posted a couple times regarding my 1991 25 hp Mercury..We'll today she ran good for a 1/2 hour and then....naddda, nothing worked on her for an hour nothing...Here's my question, I've got a guy selling a 2000 Mercury 25EL..SER#0G986391(Tracker) Long shaft with a bad lower unit....My motor is a long shaft as well, SER#OC257680...from what I've read they appear to be interchangeable based on the part numbers 1665-8669A21...Can anyone confirm this?...Also would the controls be interchangeable as well...My motor has an 8 pin..Any help would be greatly appreciated..
