I got this motor last year, replaced thermostat, lower unit oil. impeller rebuilt carbs and did all the little tune up stuff I could think of. Most of the time it ran decent however some times when it got over 4000 rpm's it would surge like it was starving for fuel. Some times it helped to pump the bulb some times not. Anyway, went to the mississippi river yesterday and was about 10 or 12 miles from the dock. It got slower and slower, maybe going up the river about 5 mph. I pulled it over to the bank and took off the hood. I have a see through fuel filter and my partner noticed itty bitty air bubbles in it. I had a new fuel tank and new omc bulb and lines so I figured the leak had to be in the quick connect or hoses on the motor. Took off the line at the fuel pump and hooked it straight up to my fuel tank. Presto it ran like a bat out of hell better than it ever has. I think my problem is the quick connect on the motor side but I can't seem to find one. anyone got a part number?

Thanks but I forgot to say I don't have the vro fuel pump, I have a regular pump as I mix my gas and oil.
