dmcp,<br /><br />Bayliners are considered "entry level" boats. There is nothing wrong with them as far as safety and handling. They were just not built to the most exacting standards. Being as what they are, many novices bought them. I would want to have the engine/outdrive checked over well.<br /><br />3.0 L Mercruiser. Good engine excellent outdrive albeit a little underpowered. If this is the 19' Capri classic I'm thinking of, it should do close to 40 mph.
