1991 Force 50hp runs like poop

I have a 1991 50hp force outboard that was stored for seven years. I took it out on the lake and it would not run faster than idle. I checked compression and it is good in both cylinders. I checked for spark and have none in the bottom cylinder. (When I took the plug out to test compression it was as clean as when I put it in)I am guessing bad coil but it is a big guess. Any help would be great. I have spent a lot of time and money fixing the boat and motor up and my wife was not impressed on our tip to the lake.

To test the coil, swap it with the other one.<br />If the other plug doesn't fire after the swap, you know it is the coil.<br />A bit pricey, but you can handle it.<br /><br />If the problem stays on the first plug, then you are looking for a new CD module.
