OK so my Dad has not been able to start this boat for 3 years and he gave it to me(he hasn't tried THAT hard but...) I just bought the manual and its awesome but where can I find the carburetor rebuilt kit? Got a part number? What exactly should I replace. I want to start from zero. I have replaced the plug, the wires are giving juice but....
We've had a few mechanics look at it and they say its in the carb. Of course my father has had REAL bad gas in it many times (he's let it set over a year) I have read 3 to 4 months is the max. But anyways I got it running (only with manual carb deflexion with hand) and it will only run when I drowned it with gas flow. I will do a compression test (at least 110 psi and 10% matching right?)

Where else can I get better access to parts?
Thanks in advance and I see in the forum that you guys take this job seriously!

Tom

Check the little roller in the timing linkage, should be black roller with clear sleave over the roller. They are always broke.

When you repair the carbs, insure all small passages are clear, use small copper wire to push thru passages.
