Ok so I am helping my buddy fix his boat that he got "on a good deal".... with a 1991 Yamaha 200 TXRP. Steering bracket rusted out, have the block off, and parts are on the way. Right off the bat I noticed that the oil tank, sender, linkage, and oil line are gone. Oil pump is still there and the lines coming off the oil pump are still there. Instead of replacing everything he wants to delete the oil system all together and premix. I know I know... Yamaha oil injection is the best out there, not my motor so please do not reply arguing against this. Because I have the block off I was able to have plenty of access for removing the oil pump and the gear driven shaft. I am having a hard time finding a block off plate for the location where the pump used to be. Does anybody know where to buy this online? Trying to find a kit that comes with the plugs as well. Also, I want to bypass the oil limp mode while still having the over heat alarm. Any advice on what wires to jumper or ground would be much appreciated.
