1992 150hp force

OK the other day I hit a real big log.I was WOT.<br />I stopped the boat and checked for damage,didn't see any, so we started out slow and all seemed fine<br />got it home and did a good insp found nothing wrong.<br />Took out yesterday and noticed my speedo doesn't work.<br />There is no paddle wheel on the bottom or anything else ,could the speedo sensor be in my lower motor housingand how does it work so I can attempt repair.

There is probably a pickup on the front of the<br />lower unit.It may just be plugged with a piece of log. You should have a ser. manual.Saves time,aggravation,frustration and money.<br />Try the library,NAPA,Iboats.com,Amazon.com,EBAY,etc.<br />Worth every penny. <br /> Spike
