1992 300DA soft spot in galley floor

I am looking at a 1992 300DA this otherwise in very good condition...with one exception.
While performing a pre-purchase inspection, I experienced a soft spot in the cabin floor in front of the sink/galley area.
Vessel has recent carpet, and after checking adjacent areas, this appears to be isolated to the area mentioned.
Anyone have any experience with this condition?

Probably caused by a leak in the galley plumbing.

It'll be like any other soft deck boat problem, you won't really know what you're getting into until you start ripping it out to replace it.
