1992 40 hp evinrude runs good in gear idle dies when going to high speed carbs not a problem
any one have a sugestion

Not clear what you are saying. Idles well in gear, but stalls when throttling up?

What trouble shooting has been done.----How did you rule out carburetors ?----Checked flywheel key ?

the motor runs real good when in water at slow speed when i push the thottol foward to speed up it just bogs down carbs have been rebuilt

carbs have been cleaned and rebuilt has plenty of fuel in carbs when it bogs down have not check flywheel
