1992 9.9 evinrude carb cam follower and set up question

1992 9.9hp evinrude.
Looking for set up and fine tuning the carb cam follower and how to determine proper
spark advance. bascially any set up and adjustments that may be needed from a carb
replacement. I would like to go over any adjustments that may be needed to make sure
everything is correct
any info or link to repair manual page would be great too.
