1992 90HP Force Exhaust Snout question?

I have just installed a new Stilleto Advantage 1 prop (19 pitch) on my 90HP Force and the blades hit the exhaust snout (this is not a trim tab). In fact, there is no trim tab on this year of engine however, in newer Force models i.e. 1998 there is a trim tab and no exhaust snout. Can I run the engine without this exhaust snout attached?

I would also like to add a high performance trim tab however, most trim tabs screw in from the top - I need one that screws in from the bottom in order to attach to the cavitation plate where the exhaust snout was located.

Any Force mechanics who could advise me would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks neeko

Sorry Neeko. If you run without the exhaust snout, the exhaust will go into the prop and you will ventilate terribly.

End result will be an over revving engine and an outboard that would be better suited for mixing margaritas.

I'm not sure that will even fit correctly. I'm betting it rubs on the ring at the back of the gearcase in front of the prop.
