As promised here are some update pictures

Here is the motor stand built from the famous iboats thread.

I got the cap popped off, just waiting for some friends to come over and cary it to storage area.



Take open up and say ahhhhhh



A shot back to the rear bulk you can also see the missing section of stringer.



Just another side shot...not sure what to do about that faded section of Gel at the water line.

Wow does that ever look familiar, the Astro I'm doing right now is even the same color, stripes and all.

That is funny. Where are the pictures?

That said what I am really not sure about is what to do about the gelcoat at the water line back by the stripes.



The rest of the bottom of the boat looks really good just not sure what is going on here.

Wet sand and buffed worked for me. I can show you a picture about exactly like that.

I also have a 92 Astro and was wondering if you came accross the second hull id number when restoreing your boat. The id number on the back of my boat is partcially worn off and I cant locate the second number. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks
