Hello. I've looked at your pictures and I don't see any thing obvious that troubles me. If you see something wrong by all means bring it to our attention. I think I see some rust in your cylinders but I can't be certain. In any case it only looks like surface rust and not pitting the walls. Can you see any damage to the rings? Do they look like they are free to move a little or tight to the cylinder? It looks like there is a little bit of loose scale in the water way of the cylinder head that you should clean out. My vote would be to slap it back together and try to get it firing again. You have mentioned cleaning the carb. and I'm wondering if you set your slow speed needle to the manufactures spec., and then made final adjustments? I have been sort of waiting for someone more knowledgable than I to comment about the pictures (internals) and hoefully they still will. Rick.
