1992 Johnson 70HP VRO

Motor was running fine. Machanic put a new tachometer it was running for 30 seconds and I lost all spark. What canit be?? Now the motor won't start..

does it even tun over? If not blew fuse looking from back left side glass fuse proably 20 amp.

It cranks but no spark. 20 amp is still good checked it..

I dont see how unless the tach was hooked up wrong and shorted unhook tach and try

Unhooked the tach and ran 3 primary ignitions with no spark. The guy had 3 keys and wiring harness not hooked tomy tachs and still nothing. If you put needle nose pliers on the coil it will get a weak spark. One the male and female connector is put together it looses spark. No idea. I was told it could of fried the rectofier or blew the fuse.. The inline 20 amp fuse is fine.
