1992 johnson gt200 stator direction of rotation

I am attempting to resurrect a 1992 johnson gt200 vro outboard on my stratos. I am currently waiting on a repair manual and am curious which direction the engine should rotate. Also how would I verify the oil injection pump functions properly? It has ran in the past but I've had electrical problems and am now second guessing the rotation when attempting to start. Thanks in advance!

flywheel rotation is clockwise; tto check if oil pump is working mark the oil level in the tank and run engine using a 50:1 premix ratio until you are sure oil is being pumped. You don't want to run the risk of no oil going to the engine. Good luck.
