I have it out, it's on the bench, it works/ed still............now what?
Before I out it back for 20 more yrs, what should I check....brushes at the very least? Seals? What breaks on these things that I can check before I put it back on?[/QUOT
I'm assuming you are talking about the actual pump motor. First question is, why did you take it out? If there was no reason for the removal other then you want to check it out, then the usual replaceable items seems correct. Check the usual hydraulic seals and "O" rings and motor bushings or brushes. Other then that, unless there was an obvious problem, clean it up, repaint if you like and reinstall with fresh clean oil.
