I had the stator replaced a few years ago now there is a constant low amperage draw on the battery, even with the key off. Enough to run the battery to zero overnight. You can see a spark when you hook up the battery. I do not believe it is charging either. The battery gets lower and lower as you drive I feel. Lots of charging at the dock every night.

So my question is, what did the repair shop do wrong when replacing the stator? What wire did they leave off, etc?

Thanks very much.

Did not have the problem before the new stator, just no spark occasionally.

Thanks

unplug any fuses 1 at a time and see if you find something there - it could also be in the keyswitch itself -
